Love it[thumb] . ALL of the current car mags have stories on it; the most complete is in Automobile. I wonder if dealers will be charging a premium over MSRP when these babies arrive in the springl although it's between the 5 and 7, the price is more 7ish. I hear supplies will be somewhat limited. There are also some great pictures (top up, top down) at www.autospies.com . Someone with more skill than I have should post them here for instant gratification. The rear window can be put down even with the top up OR the rear window can be put up with the top down to serve as a wind deflector. My 323 suddenly looks old. What will the M6 be like????????[burnout]

yes i have. it is to have the same powerplant planned for the new m5 that u guys may have heard about, V10, 550hp. and have the 6-speed in manual or SMG. the 0-60 time just above 4s and be about 80k. unlike the e24, its a 2 door 5, not a 2door 7. tho pricewise its closer to a 7.

If that doesn't make your pulse run, then nothing will.. I can't imagine a BMW with a V10, the torque will be disgusting, incredible speeds in that M6! I can't wait to see one on the road, I'll just play escort.. :)

Just got the official 6 prices from my dealer. They say they'll have demos at the end of Feb. Coup 69,300; Cabrio 76,300--a MODEST $7000 premium. Any transmission is included. Park distance 1000. Active cruise control 2200. Head-up display 1000. Satellite radio 670. Cold weather 700. Premium sound 1800. Sport package 2800. Gas guzzler (manual or SMG only) 1300. Destination 695.

Diplomatic USA prices 65,800 and 72,485--how do you get these?

So, if you skip active cruise, head-up and sport and go w/ the auto trans, it's 4200 in options, 1400 if you skip park dist and premium sound, too.

That's just under 81,000 for the cabrio pre-tax. Seems a little pricey for a car that's closer to the 5 series, although it has a V8 (a la 545). This is gonna be a tough sell to the wife. I wonder if they'll offer 0.9% financing (lol) [rofl]

Here are the colors: Mystic blue, Silver grey, Atlantic blue (has a touch of green), Mineral silver, Titanium silver, Black sapphire, Chiaretto red, Alpine white, Jet black.

Tops come in black or grey for the cabrio.

Wonder what the M6 will cost??
