Have this "nice" bought from out of storage ex NJ 635csi.
So far have replaced,
air con compressor,
tie rods,
centre link,
control arm bushings,
sway bar links,
engine mounts,
tranny mounts,
drive shaft,
rear axles.
Need to replace
rear subframe mounts,
dog bones,
leaking gas tank,
leaking sump gaskit,
leaking main seal,
leaking valve cover seal,
sticking right front caliper.
Need old repair of rear wheel arches done properly, various carpark dings fixed, a new paint job (though original black is still shiny) and replace worn front seats and head liner.
Have lowered the car and she rides on 540i "alpine" look alike 17'8s (235 45s) and 17'9s (255 40s).
Alot of work, but you know what ...... I love this car. When ever I stop for gas I get cash offers from older guys driving SUV's. Older BMW drivers nod admiringly, and I have found new BMW drivers will give way or stop and say "I always wanted one of these."
